We have found a huge gap in the recovery space – a supportive community that’s focused on the somatic aspect of sober living.
If you are on a recovery journey and want to feel more ease and freedom in your body, join us to…
Understand why your body is the missing link to sustainable change
Build capacity to navigate your emotions with confidence and compassion
Reclaim personal agency in your body and experience freedom from unwanted behaviors
Learn practical somatic tools to self-regulate and soothe discomfort naturally
Receive support and co-regulate with like-minded community
We recognize all forms of addiction when we use the term “in recovery,” and intend for these groups to be fully inclusive. As long as you are interested in reconnecting with and deepening connection to your body, we would love to have you.
Every group will follow the same rhythm of peer support and process time, along with guided somatic practice and reflection. This is a trauma-informed, relaxed space to share and relate with each other, and ourselves, in new ways.
Whether you’ve been in recovery for years, months, days, or are debating whether sobriety is right for you, you are welcome!
“Once you start approaching your body with curiosity rather than with fear, everything shifts.” — Bessel van der Kolk

Sun Salutations: Bright and Healthy
Saturday, June 20
1:00 - 4:00 PM
with Annie Carpenter
In Person, via Livestream and Recorded for 30 days access
As Yogis we love to connect to Rituals, especially those that connect us to our body and our breath, to nature, and to the great traditions of Yoga. The Sun Salutation is all of that, and much more.
We practice this beautiful pattern in Asana to warm up, to connect our movement with the breath, to build both strength and flexibility, to examine our habits and make healthy choices and to yoke ourselves to the ritual that is Yoga.
BUT— This beloved ritual can be full of poor alignment and create painful habits; it also needs to be adjusted as we mature. The Sun Salutation I did in my 20s-40s is not the one I do now.
Join Annie for an afternoon of deep respect and rethinking of this beloved ritual. We’ll look at why we do each pose and transition, and find smart and better ways to approach them. We’ll lovingly question this tradition fully and re-imagine our way for today.
This workshop is for you if:
You love to move
You love to breathe
You want to continue to practice intelligently
You are ready to refine, and adjust.
This afternoon is for all Yogis with at least a couple of years under their belts, and for teachers who want to teach smarter.
Handstands Baby- Let’s Flip It!
Sunday, June 21
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
with Jody!
Join Jody for a workshop focused on the elements needed to get you started or keep you progressing in your handstands. Everyone will get upside down in this workshop whether it’s assisted with props, a wall, a chair, another person or all of these. Maybe you are already doing wall assisted handstands and you are excited to balance in the middle of the room. Let’s do it.
There are quite a few elements that have to come together to get us balancing upside-down: strength, flexibility, balance ability and then of course practice - repetition, repetition, repetition.
We will work on all of these.
We will do drills for:
Hand placement, grip and press
Arm hug
Shoulder to hand relationship
Core engagement
Shoulder mobility and strength
Pelvic placement
Rib cage placement
Balance ability
The lean
We will also explore several possible ways to hit your handstand:
Kick up
Pike up
Tuck up
Supported knees to chest
Finally, you’ll learn how to fall safely
Cuz you’re gonna fall!! and that’s just what’s needed to find balance.
