We have found a huge gap in the recovery space – a supportive community that’s focused on the somatic aspect of sober living.
If you are on a recovery journey and want to feel more ease and freedom in your body, join us to…
Understand why your body is the missing link to sustainable change
Build capacity to navigate your emotions with confidence and compassion
Reclaim personal agency in your body and experience freedom from unwanted behaviors
Learn practical somatic tools to self-regulate and soothe discomfort naturally
Receive support and co-regulate with like-minded community
We recognize all forms of addiction when we use the term “in recovery,” and intend for these groups to be fully inclusive. As long as you are interested in reconnecting with and deepening connection to your body, we would love to have you.
Every group will follow the same rhythm of peer support and process time, along with guided somatic practice and reflection. This is a trauma-informed, relaxed space to share and relate with each other, and ourselves, in new ways.
Whether you’ve been in recovery for years, months, days, or are debating whether sobriety is right for you, you are welcome!
“Once you start approaching your body with curiosity rather than with fear, everything shifts.” — Bessel van der Kolk

Our Favorite Asanas with Mary Paffard and Richard Rosen
Sunday, October 25
12:30 - 3:30 PM
$70
In Person, Livestream and Recorded for 30 day access
Just a few of our favorite things….. A workshop with Mary (Poppins) Paffard and Richard (Van Dyke) Rosen to explore the poses and yoga asana practice that have supported these dinosaur yogis over 4 decades.
This will be an enjoyable exploration of poses that these 2 senior teachers, longtime dear friends and super people have seen evolve from their early hard core Iyengar days to their current practice and teaching. It will be an opportunity to look at how some poses have changed within their own individual paths but also within the wider yoga and movement worlds. Why do we keep coming back to certain poses? What is a supercalafragailstic balanced asana practice? What keeps the poses and the exploration juicy, alive, relevant? What heritage and wise anatomical foundation do our favorites have?
Inevitably Richard and Mary will find much that is complimentary in their different approaches but we assure you we will find intriguing points of difference and invite you to bring your own wisdoms and experience to this workshop to share. We assure you we will not attempt to sing!
These 3 hours will incorporate active asana practice with reflection time along the way, and will end with pranayama and a short meditation. Includes a short break mid session. Suitable for those with a reasonable amount of experience in asana practice, teachers and those looking for further inspiration and validation along their unique magical paths.
