First and foremost, Whitney is a student of yoga. A disciplined practice keeps her body healthy and her mind at ease. Second, she is a yoga teacher. She avidly studies SmartFLOW® yoga with Annie Carpenter. Her classes are vigorous and lighthearted with intentional and intelligent sequencing. By focusing on the mechanics and anatomy of different bodies, she provides structure to transition her students safely through modified and advanced movements. She strives to inspire her students to use breath and asana (poses) to explore not only how to accept themselves but how to embrace themselves.
